    Round 6

Hooker is turning Ramos and dumping light 1-2s on Ramos while stepping outside. Ramos steps forward and wings in looping combos, all caught on the pinned forearms of Hooker, body shots on the elbows. Hooker is outmaneuvering Ramos, careful never to get caught on the ropes, sniping with straight rights on the body and painting Ramos' face with the jab. Ramos is forcing Hooker into the ropes with jabs and ramped lead rights, then working uppercuts to keep him there. Hooker slips a few punches and wriggles off the ropes dropping counters on Ramos' face. The bell rings but neither boxer hears it and they keep scrapping toe to toe an extra 5-10 seconds until the ref gets between them!

    10-9 Hooker

    59-55 Hooker

    Legend.

Imagine if Pascal comes down with a bad case of the squirts (from a poorly barista'ed Starbucks white chocolate mocha!) and it gets canceled last minute? :rofl:rofl:rofl

Hooker would be in trouble if Ramos had a bigger punch

Gutsy showing in round 7 by both guys. Ramos won the round pretty big, though.

    Round 7

Hooker puts in a 1-2-1-2 and fades out as Ramos takes his turn with a lunging left hook up on his toes, caught on the bony forearm. Hooker is tiring, popping in light volleys of straight arm punches at Ramos' head while backing up. Ramos keeps the earmuffs on and lets Hooker have his turn while backing up, perhaps hoping he'll punch himself out. BIG clubbing left hook by Ramos. Body-head combos by Ramos. Leaping inside with a jab on the cheek, Ramos stays in Hooker's chest and hammers at him with hooks and right hands. Body shots by Ramos. 1-2 by Hooker backing up, exhausted. Double right hand up top by Ramos. Soft right by Hooker.

    10-9 Ramos

    68-65 Hooker

Come the eighth, it may not require anything very big.

Unless his recuperative powers during the minute break are superb...

    Round 8

Hooker is popping the jab and diving in, leaning down on Ramos. Hooker jumps outside and lands a stiff jab as Ramos is threshing the body with hooks with both hands. Jabs on the backfoot by Hooker. BIG winding overhand right by Ramos. 1-2-1-upper by Hooker, very light, going through the motions as he backpedals. Another enormous right by Ramos, bashing Hooker over the ear. Hooker is hurt by a left hook as Ramos crowds him into the ropes. Hooker is flopping around, his upper body dangling over the highest ropes. Ramos loads up a big hook to the body. Hooker throws a straight combo to get free. Right hand by Ramos. Hooker is wobbly. Left hand by Ramos, almost dropping Hooker.

    10-9 Ramos

    77-75 Hooker

Awesome fight! Was expecting Ramos to take it late but Hooker held on well.

I wouldn't mind if a judge found an extra round for Ramos and had this a draw.

Both deserve to keep their zeroes...and bring them into a REMATCH! :D
