Shutout for Taylor. Corner telling him not to in fight even though he dominated the infighting.

    Round 5

Truax jabs in and ties up. 1-2 by Taylor. Truax holds again. Ref is splitting them up, not brooking any nonsense from the visitor from the Midwest. "Get your hands out and work, let's go!" :nod Double jab by Taylor. Truax hops in and out, not punching. Clinch. Taylor lands an accidental left hook while trying to rip a combo as Truax flops in on him trying to hold. Wild left uppercut misses by Truax as Taylor jabs him square between the eyes. 1-2-3 by Taylor stepping around Truax but eating a soft left hook in the process. Clinch. Truax taps Taylor on the back. The ref warns Truax to stop grinding his head into Taylor. Triple jab by Taylor, strong and straight. Four punch combo by Taylor, driving Truax away. Taylor sticks another jab in his face and catches Truax diving in with some body shots and a clinch attempt. 1-2 to the body by Taylor. Double jab, cross to the head by Taylor. Clinch by Truax.

    50-45 Taylor

5-0, but it's a competitive shut-out, if that makes sense. JT is landing better shots each round, but Truax gives the impression of being in the fight in each stanza.

    Round 6

Taylor keeps stepping left and landing jabs. Truax moves in and axes Taylor in the face with a right hand. Pat Burns yells at Taylor to keep distance and just put Truax on the outside of the jab. Truax bounces in and out, and then leaps to his left. Truax almost does a split in the middle of the ring, wtf is he doing. A weird little half-jig. Some creative footwork by Truax, not really sure what it's accomplishing. Left hook lead by Taylor. Chopping 1-2 by Taylor. Two more clubbing rights to the back of the neck by Taylor. Truax ducks and circles in close. Flush jab to the face by Taylor.

    60-54 Taylor

Rd 6- 10-9 Truax. Landed some stiff jabs, rights made JT miss all round.

    57-57

JT is on his way to losing. His head is somewhere else.

    5-0-1.

Traux landed only the real power punch in the round. Taylor won the rest of it.

they still should have given Ronald amatuer experience. One thing Thomas Hearns did was he told Ronald he could fight as long as he got an education first. Good decision, yet it held Ronald back in years he could have learned his craft. I am not insulting Tommy as much as saying like he always said boxing deserves 100 percent of your effort. He didn't give his son that opportunity. I know what he meant about education, but maybe it was Ronald's decision..
