Franklin is horrible, meanwhile half the forum would probably pick him to beat Wilder. The same ones that think I was crazy picking Wlad to beat AJ.

Forrest stamping the forehead with the right jab leaning in, keeping a narrow base with his legs shoulder width apart or less on the outside, then veering counter-clockwise and riding the carousel away from the power hand of Franklin. Timely clinches by Forrest. Wild attacks by Franklin, in short bursts, getting either snatched up in a vice grip locked around his neck by Forrest's arms or popped with counter southpaw jabs and then sidestepped. Franklin is diving in with the right on the body and getting caught in a DDT hold. Chopping overhand lefts by Forrest as Franklin dives in again. Franklin just flopping against Forrest, muscling him against the ropes but missing all his swiping power shots.

    10-9 Forrest

    68-65 Franklin

Franklin throwing lead rights, missing as Forrest turns his cheek. Franklin keeps persisting and now clips him below his ear. Forrest is making Franklin miss, jumping in and out, waiting until Franklin shows the 1-2 and then reacting, but not making him pay. Very anticlimactic, interminable waltz. Franklin bowling in giant body shots...all gutter balls. Forrest just hopping around, dodging, and now countering with some looping & uppercut lefts. Forrest carrying his arms low, bouncing on his toes, feeling himself, getting in a rhythm, confident now that he can outbox Franklin down the stretch.

    10-9 Forrest

    77-75 Franklin

Forrest is punishing Franklin with big whip-over lefts, hiding them as if throwing an uppercut to his body and then arcing them high over Franklin's guard and crashing into his face while Franklin is charging in missing his telegraphed lancing rights. Forrest nudging a soft right jab into the mush, and then sashaying back to lure Franklin onto a counter left. He doesn't get a chance to land it, only because Franklin is too slow of foot and/or gassed to enter his spiderweb before Forrest's instincts have carried him into a rightward spiral.

Well, now on my card, Franklin does need a KD to avoid a draw.:deal:

Who is hyping Franklin? Just because he is headlining a ShoBox? That isn't some huge distinction. Unproven prospects headline ShoBox all the time.

I think when you have fought on very competitive terms with a 38 year old Ry Booker coming off a fourteen year layoff, you're probably nobody's realistic hope for a HW savior anymore..

Forrest is just spamming the left hand, and Franklin is drawn to it like a moth to flame, just letting the conveyor belt carry him into shots (or clinches). Franklin is swatting downward with his left jab to knock Forrest's right glove down and clear a sighting path, but Forrest is still able to peg him with lefts he doesn't see coming simply by stepping laterally and changing angles, with minimal athleticism. Lots of clinches and sloppy arm punches bouncing off each other's shoulders. Big flurry both ways at the bell for about ten seconds, nobody landing anything of note.
