Tyner comes forward and jabs out of a low-left stance and Vargas rushes around him and hooks the body until their courses collide and they clinch up. They're infighting a bit but both getting tired and leaning into each other. Weeks is in there. Vargas pushes Tyner back with his forearms, into the ropes. They wrestle until Vargas explodes with a slapping flurry to the face.

Vargas boxes from outside, jabbing with his left from his side and constantly moving. Tyner closes the distance and backhands some jabs up into Vargas' face. Many jabs. Landing very well with that backhand. Vargas gets some more spacing. Tyner walks into a jab. Clinch. Body taps. Weeks breaks it up. Vargas throws a right hand, blocked. Tyner eats a big lead right, head turned over. Left upper-hooks by Vargas, partly blocked. Tyner showboats. Right hand, left hook combo by Tyner!! Big series of shot!! Body shots by Tyner!!!
