Latimore is pushing the right jab up into Nunez's face and drilling him with the straight left. Short counter left hook by Nunez, an arm punch. BIG left by Latimore, and a right hook to the temple. Nunez covers up in the corner. Joe Cortez has a close look. Nunez flops forward with an overhand right, gassed but fighting back.

A few pumping straight combos from Latimore, getting Nunez on the ropes - but he doesn't move in for the kill. More circling and staring each other down.

Latimore jabs and circles to the right. Lead right to the body by Nunez. Latimore steps in and out and rolls side to side, keeping Nunez unable to get a bead on him with that left jab. Latimore dances to his right and flurries at the body from a few feet away, with Nunez trying to counter with slow jabs. Latimore is dancing around, outboxing Nunez when he deigns to jab but often not working. BIG RIGHT HAND BY NUNEZ!! LATIMORE IS HURT!! NUNEZ IS SLUGGING AWAY!!! NUNEZ ALL OVER HIM!! LATIMORE FINALLY FALLS, FROM ACCUMULATION AFTER SOME WRESTLING AS LATIMORE TRIED TO HOLD!!! Not enough time for Nunez to finish him off.
