Ferrer is standing in front of his opponent, grinding in, unloading as many jabs and corkscrew rights as he can before pressing in tight enough to apply the octopus tentacles. Ortiz has found a solution, working uppercuts to pry Ferrer off and keep him a full body length at bay. Ortiz is backed into corners several times but is landing better in all the exchanges, just letting Ferrer walk onto shots while lunging in, overanxious to get inside to hold (& sometimes hit).

Saw as a film franchise > this garbage as a fight.

 

Round 8

Ferrer is cuffing at Ortiz with both hands when he ducks in the pocket, landing the pinky edge of either glove's padding against the nape of his neck. Ortiz is pushing the jab out into Ferrer's throat and driving him against the ropes but almost eating a counter jab, making lots of technical mistakes, both feet moving while he's jabbing, chin pointing straight up. Ferrer not taking advantage, just waiting his turn and slashing wildly at the body while diving in and then holding and spinning out.

Farhood has it level. Cop-out, mother****er - I bet he didn't even actively score it. His card probably just has a doodle of that blonde ring card girl topless riding some mythological beast like Taarna from Heavy Metal.
