Oh!! That's where I recognize his voice...

The third commentator working with Farhood and Tarver tonight is Bernardo Osuna.

He's one of the Telefutura guys.

His English is pretty flawless, tbh.

    Round 5

Franco is blasting away with quick combos, putting straight punches together with hooking ones. Miranda is made to back up for most of the round but with a minute left he finally catches Franco with some well-timed swings and gets him to back up. Franco is shelling up and taking several right hooks and some left uppercuts underneath up into his chin! Franco stands in the pocket and blocks some more, looking for chances to counter. Miranda just bangs away with his left. Franco slaps away at Miranda's guard trying to discourage him from throwing any more.

    10-9 Miranda

    48-47 Franco

    Round 6

Franco lands a nice straight right. Miranda takes it well and keeps coming forward. Franco hooks him in the face and keeps moving. Miranda throws some pendulous body shots while charging forward. Franco is using lots of movement and attacking from different angles, blocking all of Miranda's attempts to time him with something big. Franco looks very relaxed, bouncing around and slipping well above the waist - allowing Miranda very little chance of connecting cleanly. Franco is taking away Miranda's reach advantage by just running in tight circles around him. Miranda's best hope is to throw to the body, which he does with a liver shot. Miranda keeps jabbing to the body but Franco is burning rubber all around him and making him dizzy. Franco holds his jab out and blocks a lead left by Miranda. Franco launches a quick combo with no snap on it but seals the round with it as Miranda just stares at him.

Lol, Tarver just dissed Cuban boxers saying their all featherfisted point getters.

    Round 7

Miranda throws right jabs and some 1-2s in Franco's direction, basically just keeping Franco from darting in on him and not coming close to landing himself. Franco keeps taunting with his jab from outside and flurrying a bit on the inside before shooting back out off his toes. Miranda continues to find his only solid target on Franco's body and even that is elusive. Franco swipes with a lazy left hook that Miranda leans away from to the left. Miranda throws a slow southpaw 1-2 and Franco turns him and counters. Franco is rolling around above the waist and borderline showboating, landing several jabs and allowing Miranda nothing offensively. Miranda tries to skip inside and land three consecutive uppercuts on the chin but had them caught on Franco's palms. Franco hangs outside and plants his feet, launching lead rights from his hip.

    Round 8

HARD jabs and hooks land for Franco, who is suddenly quite vicious. Miranda eats them and is a bit shaken before getting his hands up. Franco doesn't push it. Franco is back on his bike, making Miranda miss and flipping out jabs and 1-2s from the outside. Miranda overextends with a lead left and exposes his back. Franco doesn't throw at it. Franco is still turning Miranda and double jabbing him. Miranda is timing shots every time Franco sets his feet and lands a nice left uppercut. Franco jabs to the body and then barely gets out of the way of another lead left uppercut that lifts Miranda off his own feet. Miranda is trying to cut the ring off and Franco is using the full ring, running. Franco lands a lead right and then a triple jab flush on the face. Franco is completely pelting Miranda with all sorts of punches from relatively close range, while Miranda only gets a few glancing straight shots in and has abandoned that left uppercut

    10-9 Franco; 78-74

Miranda doesn't quite have enough pop to play the power puncher/inferior boxer role. Maybe Franco just has a great chin.

    Round 9

Miranda has started working his trusty left uppercut again; he's just pumping his arms back and forth between the left uppercut and right jab. Franco isn't getting away from him, just staying inside and trading while trying to block Miranda's punches. Franco is more accurate and has the faster hands but Miranda is landing harder. Franco lands several unanswered shots and then Miranda pops off some body shots. Miranda lands a looping left and Franco just stands and opens up with his own quick pot shots. Miranda slugs away to the body, a little smothered by Franco being up in his chest. Another looping left lands for Miranda! Franco answers back! Body punches from both! Miranda throws a hard combo, blocked but it moves Franco. Franco flurries back!!!

    Nice fight.

    Yeah, somewhere in between probably.

Luis has stood up to some crazy uppercuts.

    Round 10!

Miranda misses a sweeping right hook and the follow-up left cross. Franco tosses out his 1-2 and lands it twice in a row but Miranda gets his straight left through. Franco claps his gloves together and pumps himself up to get going. He tags Miranda several times!! Miranda wobbles into the ropes, but it's just off-balance. They take turns throwing punches in bunches. Miranda's are mostly partially or totally blocked; Franco's are landing but not damaging. Miranda keeps ripping the air between them with left uppercuts but they're badly telegraphed now. Miranda digs in with a brutal left to the body. Franco leans down and tries to hold. Suddenly a furious combination of hooks from Franco! Miranda is winded, and trying to catch Franco with a hail-mary left uppercut or right hook. Franco just lays it on with quick flashy punches straight through to the face, despite being nearly as tired.

I've got 97-93 for Franco but could see it a bit closer.

Why can't all fights be like this? Very entertaining. 6-4 Franco. I wouldn't be surprised to see a draw.

Farhood, Osuna and Tarver all have it 95-95.
