    Bullcrap.
Poor Beltran 2x in a row walks away with a loss when he did not.

Beltran has no luck on his side.

    Beltran is throwing a tantrum.

    He wants to murder children.

He has to be fed up really.

Feel bad for the guy. Should have 2 straight wins over undefeated prospects.

It was a close ass fight, nobody can complain. It's a shame that they always seem to favor the young undefeated prospect though.

I don't know about it being a robbery, having scored it a draw myself.

James Jen Kin (and to a lesser extent Daniel Sandoval) has enough experience and a solid enough track record to make 97-93 seem a bit strangely wide.

Feel bad for Beltran, but I believe the decision was fair, the fight could have gone either way, although the two 97-93 cards seemed a bit wide by a round in my opinion.

"Often I'll go into the locker rooms after these shows and any journalist will tell you the better stories are usually to be found in the loser's locker room.

...tonight, I'm not going anywhere near Beltran's locker room!"

    - Steve Farhood

    :rofl

I think Curt Menefee's tenure as Nick Charles' replacement is over. He's talking about "not being around for the next few broadcasts...or for the next long while..."

    Medical issues? :huh

Yeah, he is done on ShoBox. He just said goodbye to the audience and to Farhood & Tarver...and thanked them all for welcoming him in "difficult circumstances".

Huh, so who will it be now? :think

Who would you rather see next time Beltran or Ramos ? Sure most would say Beltran.
This kid Ramos aint nothing special.

At least Shareef fought his heart out 8 months ago while Ramos just held.
Not too happy with this decision. Gotta be tough for a guy like Beltran at his age taking 2 L's in a row. Boxing really pisses me off lately.

Farhood needs to be on Showtimes A-Team and not just the ShoBox broadcasts.

That ShoBox where it was just him and Bernstein a while back was the best commentary I'd heard on any sport in ages.

He only held excessively in the last few rounds, when the cut was bleeding into his eye.

He's got some nice tools in his belt. Good right jab and hook. The left is somewhat useless, but...

He didn't impress you at all for being in with a Terminator and giving up like six inches in height?

I'd be happy seeing Ramos-Beltran II, Bogere-Beltran II, or Bogere-Ramos.
