Figueroa is floating up some high jabs and snapping Perez's head back, but Perez is getting his licks in while backing up. Right hand by Perez. Uppercut by Figueroa. Wide left by Perez is caught with a shrugging deflection by Perez, who then rips a quick combo. They scrap together and clinch. Body shots, more thrown by Perez. They split and Figueroa chases with a high jab. Perez is lifting himself off Figueroa and repositioning, resting first on one side of his body and then the other. Figueroa starts to time his lean-back motions and clobber him when they're not sandwiched together. Perez is warned for holding. Figueroa is atop him. Perez shoves him back with both arms.

Round 6

Hard jab to the body by Figueroa. Double jab to the mouth by Perez. Uppercut by Perez walking into a lean-in. Flurry to the body by Perez. Good right hand from outside by Perez. Figueroa is pushing forward, leaning into Perez's arms as the Artist backs up. Body shots by Perez. Figueroa misses some high floating left jabs and a left hook up close. Perez backs up to the ropes and comes in to lean and grind, his left wing held up high with his elbow pointed upward to torque Figueroa back. Body shots whipped out both ways. Clinch. Figueroa slaps with his free hand. Jab by Figueroa after they separate and march right back up to each other, but Perez claps both sides of his head with little hooks. Body shots. Figueroa chases with his floating jab. Figueroa is skipping after Perez. Clinch, and Perez carries Figueroa to the ropes. Wild hook by Figueroa misses. Perez is caught and starts to bend forward, with Figueroa ripping shots.
