    Round 1

OC pushes his right jab out, and turns it over into a few right hooks. Bracero is throwing his 1-2 down the pipe. Bracero actually looks like a strongly built kid; I wonder if his low stoppage ratio has more to do with having been matched tough. OC keeps pot shotting with the soft right jab and then circling off to his right with long quick steps. Bracero is really intent with that 1-2. Now Bracero switches up and leads with the right, throwing it in reverse as a 2-1. OC bends at the knees and at the waist, back and to the side to avoid punches. Bracero throws several punches straight out in front, with OC just ducking down and taking them on the shoulder while covering his face. OC with a big left hand but it's really effeminate and lands softly against Bracero's face without any effect.

    :think

10-9 OC I guess, he got some slapping jabs in and avoided most of Bracero's stuff.

Is it wrong to wish for a head butt to spice this up some?

    Round 2

Nice left hook by Bracero, catches OC with his chin up in the air and hands down, and feet not set. Bracero curls shots in as he pounds his way inside. OC is trying to hold him off with a right jab. Left uppercut from OC. Bracero is getting touched on the forehead with the right jab but there isn't any snap on it. Bracero keeps throwing lead rights and burying them just under OC's tucked chin. They stand there posing and watching each other. OC throws a limp 1-2 against Bracero's face. Bracero has two jabs blocked but lands a right cross as OC leans away. Big left hook by Bracero again catches OC off balance, but OC lands his own right hook. Bracero just marches in leading with his head, leaning it against OC's gloves and working his fists around to either side.

20-18 OC but both very close rounds.

OC's cornerman is being brutally honest with him, telling him he needs to work a lot more and sharpen up the jab.

"You only threw sixty punches; that's not enough!"

Bacero Landed best punch of the fight early in rd 2 - straight right to the body.
He hasn't followed up the body rest of round.

    Round 3

Bracero swiping and missing with jabs and right hands. OC using nice movement on the outside. OC slapping with right hooks as hard as he can but having no effect whatsoever. OC is the truly feather-fisted one here. I'd be anything that Bracero generates three times as much force on one of those punch-pressure evaluating apparatuses. Bracero landing the right well, buzzes OC - that's what I'm talking about. OC is getting a bit lazy, staying on the outside with his hands down and not working. Bracero comes forward and winds up a right uppercut to the body. Bracero the only one punching.
    Clinch.

    10-9 Tito Bracero

I'm reading down threw here, and for some reason IB's descriptions of Nelson remind me of Eric Reagan. Any truth to my wandering brain farts?

    Round 4

Bracero comes on slugging. OC pawing with the right jab and trying to keep distance. Bracero is landing nice upward left hooks from the hip. Big right staggers OC a little, finding his high unprotected chin. Bracero landing lots of punches, despite OC putting all his eggs in the defensive basket. OC throws a lazy 1-2 and Bracero steps in and hits him. 1-2 from Bracero lands. Right hand crashes through OC's gloves. OC is turning his head and trying to stay wide but not running, circling at mid-range. Bracero throws a right to the body. Bracero bullies his way forward with his jab. Clubbing right hand across the back of the head as OC ducks down. Right/left combo by Bracero. Then another - a left/right - at the bell.

2nd rd body shot paying big dividens, O'Connor still hasn't recovered properly. OConnor is a right hander turned southpaw, he pushes his left and has no snap. w/o getting of his right jab he can't do anything here.

    Round 5

Bracero banging forth, forcing OC to run or clinch. OC's movement not as slick anymore. He's either running flat footed or stumbling into clinches. Bracero firing rights through the gloves. OC lands a good combo to the face during a break in Bracero's punching. Bracero comes back and lets his hands fly at OC. Right hand lands. OC clinches. Bracero steps away from a lazy OC 1-2. Bracero jabs him in the face twice. Clubbing right and left across the back of the neck as OC ducks forward.

    10-9 Brac

    48-47 Brac
