Johnson throwing lots of body jabs coming forward. Davis is sticking his up high as usual, keeping his steps flowing. Davis hooking off the jab on the turn. Johnson hasn't landed a power punch. Davis with body shots. Johnson misses a short digging combo. Johnson has a jab and a hook blocked. Davis lands a right to the body. Another right to the body. Davis hooks around Johnson's glove and hits the back part of it (and part of Johnson's ear). Right hand through the gloves by Davis. Johnson lunges with a very slow and telegraphed 1-2; Davis ducks. Johnson looks tired. Johnson tries to land a right to the body but Davis too slippery. Davis landing a lot more, but not hurting Johnson at all. Davis lands an uppercut.

Round 8

Johnson is coming forward, jabbing & missing. Davis is countering with his own jab and landing. Davis isn't even keeping much distance, just circling in and throwing his left. Johnson is way too inactive. Left hook and right hand by Davis while turning Johnson. Davis slips a body jab but takes a right hand across the bottom of the chin. Johnson falls short with an uppercut and winds up hung up on top of Davis, perching his arms across his back. Johnson throws a big right hand and just barely clips Davis with it.

The crowd is so mad.

 

Round 9

Davis coming out in a frenzy, going to the body like mad! JOHNSON WINCES AND TAKES A KNEE FROM A RIGHT UPPERCUT BODY SHOT! DAMN! Davis comes right back and works the body. Rights and lefts. Johnson takes a left to the face that rattles his brains. Davis pours punches all over him, but Johnson is leaning in and pressing his shoulder against Davis to stump a lot of the blows. Johnson digs to the body but looks pretty weak in the arms. Johnson leaps in after a break with a slapping left hook. Johnson lands a right hand and left hook pushing Davis into the ropes, but not much on them. Clinch, and they spin around in each other's arms. HUGE RIGHT CROSS BY DAVIS snaps Johnson's head back hard. Another clinch. Johnson takes a few short shots to the side of the head and then thrusts out a high right hand of his own. Davis lands a good 1-2 at the bell.

Round 10

Johnson comes out swinging hard, landing a right hand to the body and trying to plant one upstairs as well. Davis gets on his bike, but rides it right into the ropes where Johnson catches him and forces a clinch. Johnson chases with his right hands just walking in with his hands down. Davis is pushing inside and working the body. Left upper-hook by Johnson, brushes the arms of Davis. Johnson takes a 1-2 on the gloves. Both just arm punching now. Johnson breathing heavily. He leans on Davis against the ropes. Davis hikes up his trunks and starts jabbing Johnson in the face while moving. Davis is tired, too but handling it a little better. Davis ducks a right hand but takes a left hook to the hip. A pair of left hooks to the ear by Davis. Johnson swings out with a wide right hand but gets ducked. Clinch. Davis lands a counter jab on Johnson flying in wildly.
