LSC presses forward and starts fast, ignoring the incoming from Zaleta while driving him to the ropes and looking again for that killer hook downstairs. It LANDS AGAIN! SECOND KD! ZALETA UP AGAIN! Under heavy pressure and eating right hands on a stick.

Round 8:

LSC rumbles forward, smirking in the face of a desperate Zaleta flurry. Driving him back to the ropes and snapping back his head with an EVIL right to the head. SICK combo from LSC! Zaleta still hangs in there! HOW!? Zaleta fires back, and has LSC bleeding a bit from the nose even as LSC draws gasps with brutal shots upstairs!

Round 9:

LSC continues to drive his foe back into the ropes, chipping away at his foe and waiting for the next opportunity to land another big shot. It happens mid-way when he lands a BIG RIGHT HAND TO THE CHIN! Zaleta down for the third time. THAT"S IT!

RIP to Carmen Basilio. Not too many fighters will ever show the type of toughness, grit and will that he displayed every time he stepped in the right.
