Round 4

Caballero is shuffling forward, landing jabs to the face and rights to the body. Araiza is backing up, covering his head and pawing with stubby jabs that don't have a prayer of landing on the straight and tall standing Caballero. Right hand lead between the eyes by Caballero, landing just over the gloves. Araiza is staggered off balance. Cuffing hook by Araiza, landing with his forearm on Caballero's temple. Whipping 1-2 from outside by Caballero. Araiza is walked back to the ropes.

Caballero's trainer wants more combination punching and aggression, thinking it's a bit ridiculous that Araiza is still hanging around.

 

Round 5

Caballero kind of follows his corner's advice - throwing a five jab combination. :yep Araiza hops back toward the ropes, behind a turtle shell. Caballero rams it with jabs and rights. Uppercut to the body by Caballero causes him to fall in, and Araiza cuffs him in the neck with a clubbing forearm while attempting a hook. Caballero jabs Araiza back into a corner and eats a high line drive right hand. Caballero hooks and jabs into the gloves of Araiza, backing him up. Left uppercut sneaking in from below the elbows by Caballero. Clubbing right by Araiza, again landing mostly on the neck. Caballero counters with a 1-2. Caballero is mostly just jabbing into the guard of Araiza. A few jabs and then a forearm shiver by Araiza to both steady himself and push Caballero back, veteran trick.

Best Araiza round, but he didn't win it.

Round 6

Caballero is inexplicably standing in and letting Araiza slap up at him with hooks from out of a crouch. Araiza is landing well with looping counters past the jab, and keeping Caballero frozen stiff. Caballero starts to circle around and wing his own hooks but is missing high as Araiza keeps ducking and throwing bombs. Overhand rights mixed in with the high reaching hooks. Araiza is getting up in Caballero's chest and jabbing the body, saving his power punches for those high arcs toward Caballero's chin.

Damn.
