Juratoni is banging with him in close quarters. Brinson was jabbing and circling. It's very hard to compare.

    Round 1

Derevyanchenko is landing stiff jabs on the face. Derevyanchenko is coiled to strike, low and compact, putting his weight forward on his bent lead knee and shooting up with the jab, catching Ayala standing upright with his guard loose. Ayala is flipping jabs up from the hip into the bottom of Derevyanchenko's gloves, keeping a distance. Stiff jab on the chest by Derevyanchenko.

    10-9 Derevyanchenko

I'm a little more of a Khytrov fan but i'v been saying from day one that Derevyanchenko is a way more complete, multi-faceted and pro ready fighter. He could take on a top 25 opponent right now.

    Round 2

Derevyanchenko is throwing lead hooks and dropping the cross in after thumping Ayala on the side of the dome with them. Ayala is doing a good job roaming to his left, spiraling outward, preserving range and checking Derevyanchenko's advance with the up-jab. Derevyanchenko is still finding ways to score in bunches with pinpoint missiles.

    10-9 Derevyanchenko

    20-18 Derevyanchenko

I'm a fan of Khytrov like i am of Alekseev and Korobov no matter what i just hope his career turns out better. I'm still surprised those guys have fallen short.

Come on isn't it possible Khytrov just had an off night. He obviously started way slower than he usually does, I think you're being a little harsh on him.

His ceiling is probably about the same as theirs, given his severe limitations in the pro game. (no understanding of distance, most glaringly)

Derevyanchenko, on the other hand, could be the one to inherit the middleweight throne in the post-Golovkin era.

My opinion isn't based on just tonight.

I've long compared him with Lemieux (and not in a complimentary way)

    Round 3

Derevyanchenko is faking the jab and scoring with the lead right, very accurate. Left hooks off the right, then inverting the order. Ayala is getting his head rocked back every time Derevyanchenko puts them together. Ayala is game, however, pumping in counter jabs even as his balance is shaken by Derevyanchenko's offensive avalanches.

    10-9 Derevyanchenko

    30-27 Derevyanchenko
