    Gave the round to gonzalez even though lyell had a beautiful left hook that caugh gonzalez late. Excellent work from gonzalez imposing his will on lyell the body work increased from him and I think that is what won the round.

    Lyell is backing Gonzalez up, buzzing with activity as he bounces in and puts up jabs. Big windmilled right by Lyell lands, and Gonzalez grins. Lyell is hopping in on rubber soles, turning his shoulders to stay in a rhythm and slip Gonzalez's straight shots. Lyell is landing some jabs while circling. Gonzalez is walking onto the jab and reaching for body shots. Simultaneous left hooks upstairs. Lyell is circling around with his arms at his sides. Lyell scrapes Gonzalez's cheek with a hook.

    :lol: We both had a draw through six and are now both back to a draw again through eight - but we got here through opposite means.

    I thought the clean combos to the head won the round, he caught gonzalez with some nice left hooks to the head, nice combos to the body, and a solid right to the head at the end of the round, I felt his outworking of gonzalez won the round.

    Lyell is dropping his arms and shuffling around, using jerky motions to dodge and counter with his jab. Gonzalez lands a stiff jab, and Lyell just swallows it without any sign of distaste. Double right hand over the top by Lyell. Body shot, left hook by Lyell while skipping around on his toes. Gonzalez turns southpaw and is popped with a right hand. Lyell falls in with a high right hand, colliding face first against Gonzalez's chest and bouncing back off of it as Gonzalez cuffs him with a left hook. Grazing hook by Lyell from outside. Lyell jerks back and forth in time with Gonzalez's slow jabs, making him miss.

    Easy round for Lyell. He was cleanly countering the hell out of Gonzalez who really landed nothing of note and was getting picked off when he waddled in, turned, combo'd up, and then left alone. Great round for lyell.
