What a fight. Nelson took the first half of the round, Nelson took the round with a big rally, though.

    48-45 Nelson

    Round 6

Jhonson circles left, waiting and peering up above his gloves. Nelson jabs out at him. A smattering of body shots from Jhonson, making sure to step back after he connects. Nelson follows behind his jab, not daring to get too close. They step together and almost clinch, with Nelson getting spun around so his back faces Jhonson. Right hand by Nelson. Jhonson misses a left. Chopping shots to the neck by Nelson. Jhonson has his hands low, feigning body jabs and then hooking up top.

    10-9 Nelson

    56-56

Why doesn't Yudel go to the body? Just hunting with a big left, why?

Jhonson more feints then punches. Nelson good chance to win the remaining rounds solely on work rate.

Because he nearly obliterated him with one? :yep

The game plan isn't the best for winning rounds, though. It may not be wise for him to assume he'll land big again to get the KO.. :think

    Round 7

Right jabs by Jhonson, intruding on Nelson's personal space. Chopping right by Nelson, caught on the shoulder. Jab by Nelson is dodged, and countered with a big overhand left - itself only hitting the shoulder. Lead right hook and then a left by Jhonson, grazing. Lots of movement on the outside by Jhonson, using head movement and shoulder twitches to make Nelson miss his jabs. Right hooks from outside by Jhonson. Nelson tries a barrage of straight shots, 1-2-1-2-1-2. Lead right hook again by Jhonson, then an overhand left. Now a lead overhand left. Nelson is blocking most of these power shots but not able to get his straight counters off. Jhonson ducks inside under a Nelson left hook. Southpaw line drive 1-2 by Jhonson, missing. Nelson backs him up to the ropes but has a 1-2 ducked.

    66-65 Nelson

As a tall lanky guy, I can really appreciate what Nelson is doing here. Outside of a bad 30 seconds he has controlled the distance and pace, drawn the line of action well outside.
