i also think khan will be a tough fight for jmm for now, he's fast, long, good punching power and has good movement.

btw jeff, are you still interested in pac/jmm 3? if so, how do you see its outcomet?

before last night i want to watch pac vs marquez 3, now i dont want to see it. i like marquez he's a warrior and a good tactician, but he will be in for bad beating of his life. it'll be a total mismatch.

Pac Vs. Void is my first choice, but Void is a coward. Second choice would be Berto or Marquez.

He did a great job..... hopefully this performance entices Pac's camp more and gets JMM's name out there a bit more...

I'm really not sure he should be rated as highly if there's been three of them doing all of this.

Does not matter really. JMM came at 145 while Pac at 148 fight night weight with Katsidis and Margarito respectively. 3 lbs difference is not a significant factor

If Pacquiao asks for 10 mil, I'm certain GBP will deliver that......however it would be 10 million guaranteed without any percentage of the PPV........that cut would go to Marquez......

......and if the fight did anywhere near 1 million, Marquez would still get paid handsomely.....

......if the fight did over 1 million, which I believe would be the case, Marquez could actually make more than Pacquiao.

However, I'm certain that what Pacquiao would be asking for would be unreasonable.

Pacquiao is likely asking for a set ammount guaranteed plus a big percentage of the PPV, which would in turn guarantee Pacquiao somewhere in the vicinity of 75 to 80 of the purse split, which would be ridiculous.

In other words, what Pacquiao is really saying is that he does'nt want the Marquez fight.

Its called pricing yourself out to save face.......but in actuality what he's demanding is so transparent its embarrassing.

Listen, the scenario that Pacquiao is demanding will allow him to make what he made for the Margarito fight, which I hear was 20 million.......the problem lies that Marquez would end up getting the purse Margarito made, which I believe was about 3 million.......

An 85/15 split is saying, "I dont want to fight you, I'm chicken!"

I hope Pac doesn't want the fight. I really don't want to see Pac kill Marquez in the ring...

Yes, they will probably have to carry Marquez out of the ring.

Arum said that for a PAC fight... ARUM will not give allow Marquez to receive Cents over what he got with Mayweather which is...

4 Millions plus 1$ of each PPV

    so about 5.2 Million Estimated...

And PAC will want 15-20 Million.

Thats still a good ammount MARQUEZ would allow it....

That would not work for Marquez.......

If Morales looks good vs Barrios, which is a big "if," ......
.......Marquez could then make more money fighting Morales (an easy fight imo) than fighting Pacquiao.

Marquez has looked slower and more vulnerable in the last couple of years. Not that he's ever been a real defensive whiz, but he's become easier to hit. Last night was no exception. This brings out more of his offense and his combos and technique are beautiful to watch, but overall Marquez didn't look especially good, and I expect Pacquiao to beat him convincingly this time around.

Since their last fight, Marquez has slowed down while Pacquiao has looked sensational. While some of that can been attributed to the style of opponents that Pacquiao has faced, it's also due to Pacquiao looking smarter, more well-rounded, and versatile in his attack. Marquez may have some success in spots due to his counterpunching but I expect him to get beat fairly bad.

The fight went pretty much as expected, IMO, except I didnt think Kat would hurt him quite as bad as he did....

The thing is, nobody will give Pac credit when he beats JMM.... again.

With it being at a higher weight, with Mayweather having won every minute of every round, with JMM being even older, and yes... obviously a step behind what he was.

I wouldnt complain if this fight was made, because the very fact of the matter is, they have unfinished business of sorts, and whether fans like it or not, JMM is still a top 10 p4p fighter, and if the two could meet at 140 for a fight, then Pac should get credit should he beat JMM decisively.

If its above 140, and not within the next 7 months, I dont want to see it.

But I would rather see Pac vs JMM, then Pac vs Mosley.
