    Not especially a fan of Hopkins, but I am a fighter, and I recognize and admire his skills in the ring.

    Haye has nothing to admire in his technique. Sloppy footwork, off balance wild punches... He's doing everything any coach would tell you to stop doing.


    Seems that for whatever reason, Brits seem to think Haye has something to offer beyond sloppy overhand punches.

    My original statement was that Hopkins, probably the best technically skilled and most experienced world class fighter in the sport at this time, would see Haye's sloppy punches coming a mile away and make him look foolish.

    Anything Haye did manage to land would be partially deflected or glancing. Hopkins has a great ability to roll with punches and reduce the damage he absorbs.

    Zero chance for Haye in this fight.

    This is ******ed. Bernard "I'm getting dropped 2 times against an average LHW" Hopkins wants to fight Haye with a 85 % KO percentage.

    This fight will never happen.

    I can't imagine Haye even landing clean on Hopkins with anything big.

    He's too sloppy and predictable. Hopkins is quicker, has amazing defense and ring IQ.

    In every aspect except power, its a complete mismatch in Hopkins favor to the degree of Michael Jordan playing 1 on 1 with Yo Ming.
