    Just following this pathetic :gayfight:
    This content is protected
:gayfight:drama between Hearn and Finkel/DiBella got me thinking: Bob Arum is the most honest promoter in boxing!

    To wit:

Arum stated that they were negotiating w/ Floyd's Team for the fight after the collapse over drug testing. Ellerbe and Floyd both denied that there were any talks taking place. Then Ross Greenburg, then head of HBO Sports and NEUTRAL PARTY, came out and shot Ellerbe/Floyd's claim to smithereens and confessed that he had been working with BOTH sides to make the fight happen.

Team Rigondeaux claimed that Arum never contacted them to make a fight w/ Lomachenko. Then Rigondeaux himself came out and said that he was low-balled.

Most recently, when talk of Lomachenko-Linares was first heating up, Arum said that they were negotiating the fight with Eric Gomez. Oscar came back and publicly said on Instagram that there were "no talks whatsoever" for the Lomachenko-Linares. Fight was in fact being negotiated and once the ESPN time slot thing was fixed, the fight was signed.

Now you've got Eddie and Team Wilder acting like Lil Hoes on Gossip Girl. Except even the female characters on that show have more balls than Eddie and Finkel. :gey::gaydude::gey::gaydude::gey::gaydude:

There isn't an honest promoter in boxing today. If a man tried to be honest in his dealings he'd STARVE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Being the most honest promoter in boxing is like being the tallest midget in the circus...or the most honest demon in hell:eek:

Well, I mean, look, I gave very specific examples of Arum being the one telling the truth.

I think Kathy Duva is fairly honest.

Promoters can be surprisingly honest about the state of things when they have no dog in the race.

Kathy Duva would be the most honest, but she did a poor job of protecting Kovalev from being cheated two times in Vegas. However, Arum, Oscar, Haymon, etc. and all a bunch of crooks! Promoters make the rankings, yes, the one with the most money..................
