Yeah the stand bys are already pre determined. Fury wanted to use and Usyk wanted to use the other. Like I said, both camps have the same corruption argument against each other.
The beard argument is a clear sign of corruption, how the hell can they ignore the WBC rules and get away with it?
Remember all the complaining about Usyk's trunks being ''too high'' from Big Frank and Team Belly when Usyk doesn't wear them too high. The irony of this coming from Belly of all people, whose trunks are usually up a couple of inches below his nipples, and his team couldn't be more priceless and sure enough come fight time Belly had his trunks right up a few inches below his nipples, as high as I've seen anyone have their trunks, and the fact he was allowed to get away with it again should tell you everything you need to know Dubois' trunks were significantly higher than Usyk's were too but all those British media/pundit Belly shills predictably completely ignored it
Honestly I've never heard of a fighter complaining about a beard before lol. It's Wilder type excuses that. Usyk will win beard or no beard.
Ok, so why do they have that ruling then? And I'm sure it won't have impact on the fight but rules are rules no?
Fury should cut the damned beard. especially if it is objected to by Usyk or his team. You like a beard...you can grow one after the fight.
"WBC rules clearly say: 'A boxer may [sport] a trimmed beard and/or moustache as long as, in the discretion of the commission and the supervisor, the facial hair thickness does not: (1) cushion or in any way affect the impact or trajectory of punches; or (2) cause cuts or abrasions to his rival.' That's the rule.
are there any WBC rules that clearly state 1) a boxer shall not be, or appear to be, feign being or attempting to appear to be a crazy MOFO ...in a lead up to a fight, during a press conference, during a ring walk or the vicinity of said ring walk, during an actual bout or after said bout.....unless subsection 2) the boxer is an actual crazy MOFO and has a signed certificate by 3 medical professionals...not to include podiatrist, proctologists or heavy metal listeners....that said boxer is an actual crazy MOFO and may engage in pugilism regardless of said affliction with or without follicular chin stubble and/or growth.
