while I shed no tears for Warren and I wont be up at night crying myself to sleep for his "mistreatment" - he makes some valid points.

Roy Jones is shot - common knowledge.

Roy Jones of today is not worth 50/50 split - good point.

Money is now Joes Master - Too true.

His greed has allowed him to close out his career on a sour note.

He would have been better off just seeing out his career with Warren.

 

Some interesting points - but only one side of the story.

I dont understand why Joe agreed to the 50/50 split, Jones would never have accepted that when he was "the man".

Although without promoters taking a slice he must be doing very well out of it.

 

Warren made money out of Joe, If I was joe I would say Why did Terry Marsh try to Kill you Frank, what he did it for the hell of it, Just tell the world Warren is a promoter I'm the fighter we had a deal it ended, I just went else where and there was more money.

 

THey will spit the PPV slice in USA and England. say the fight does 400 000 in the usa and 150 000 in england. They will get amount per PPV sold and it will be huge amounts of money, Warren is just shitty because he see where big time boxing is going and he is getting left out of the loop.

Can't believe people are saying RJJ is lucky to get a 50/50 split, FFS I like Joe but i have mates in Australia who have never heard of him, yet they have all heard of RJJ. Further to that, as some yank in the general forum alluded 2, some people (general public) don't even remember Roy being ironed out twice in 2004.

Warren's a germ and Calzaghe is trying to get the best deal he can before retirement...... is that so wrong??

 

Terry Marsh didn't try to kill Warren...a british court of law came to that conclusion and to suggest otherwise is slanderous to Marsh. Any animosity between Marsh and Warren is down to Warren keeping an adverse medical report from Marsh and has nothing whatsoevr to do with money as far as I am aware.

 

It takes a snake to recognise another snake. There both from the same cloth. Warren now has been relegated to a small hall show promoter now that Khan has been exposed and the rest of his name fighters have gone. He`s bitter alright.

 

What a ****ing bull**** article.

You would think it had been written by Mother Theresa rather than Frank Warren:

I especially liked the story about Joe not turning up for the kids TV programme, and how good old Uncle Frank had to clear things up. I can just imagine Frank crying at this part of the article, thinking about those poor children that had been let down by the nasty Welsh boxer fella.

Frank Warren = Value for money; the article was an entertaining read, even if it was bull****.
