True enough, he cleaned LHW out as fast as Anderson or GSP cleaned out their divisions. only difference is MW and WW both have worthy contenders while Jones has beat almost every name except Lil nog and Gust who prob should fight to see who get's next shot after Machida. But after that should Jones win I would think HW would be his next step unless another challenger emerges.......
After his loss to Lawal, his stock dropped..... Not to mention draw with Jardine. He was an M1 pupil who preferred to pad a record.
He beat the **** out of Jardine. That was one of the worst decisions I have ever seen. He beat up Lawal, as well, he just got out controlled.
I know...but everyone is saying there is nobody left for him at 205...there is still Mousasi ! His TDD is horrible but it's getting better, but he got excellent jit and great stand up... But he is inconsistent from time to time...still he is last "new" threat to Jones !
Depend from the POV. Yes Lawal took him down at will, but he didn't do ****, didn't improve position, didn't go for a sub, he got to control and stalled the fight for 25 min. Yes he lost that fight on paper and both fighter didn't looked really good but are you really telling me that Lawal deserved the W for such a BS performance ? And the draw with Jardine is only because of BS useless rules for ******ed people offended by seeing a guy with his back on the ground giving an up kick to the head of some shitty wrestler with one knee to the ground. You can add to the ******ed scoring criteria regarding TD leading to nothing ! So I understand your point but I just don't agree with it !

What I think they should do is give Machida another shot at Jones and Shogun can drop down to fight Silva. Who I really think should be fighting Jones is Sonnen or maybe Velasquez should go down to 205. Mashita vs Jones is not a big fight.
He did beat Jardine. When I watched the fight, I had a feeling the judges were going to give Jardine the first round based on taking Mousasi down near the end. When the point deduction came, I knew there would be a problem. Anyway... I don't think he beat Lawal up. I thought he did most of his damage to Mo's face in the 2nd round.
