I think maybe Kessler vs Siaca or Andrade, but Saica sucked and Andrade was a brawler, so maybe that's not so hard. I haven't seen too many of Beyers fights, but he was a midget for SMW and still won a lot of fights.
One thing that bothers me is that reach is the distance from fingertip to fingertip (or was it knuckle to knuckle?), but some fighters have narrow shoulders and long arms, so it's not that useful a measure.
Tyson wasn't an outboxer and Jones didn't have short arms. Neither fighter pertains to this thread at all, so what makes it so hard to believe?
people... dont mention marciano or tyson or frazier please... I wanted to hear names of boxers who like I said outboxed and worked the ring and used footwork and technique and footwork etc. other things besides getting in close and punching hard...
those people used technique and footwork, but they didn't really work the entire ring. But obviously anyone who understands boxing knows that Marciano, Frazier, and Tyson used footwork and technique. Basically you don't want examples of fighters who were offensive-minded.
Zab Judah. Has 22" arms and is clueless when fighting on the inside, except the great left uppercut he throws like once a fight.
