i was just remembering aaron pryor displaying a very good jab against arguello as well as giving good angles. the thing that was even more interesting to me was how short pryors arms looked especially compared to the likes of arguello, cervantes and hearns.

johnny tapia also could out box good fighters with signifigantly shorter arms.

where there any other boxers that could out box good fighters with a good jab that short arms?

Orlin Norris comes to mind. I remember a boxing writer describing how amazing it was to see him ducking in and out of Greg Page's supperior reach.

both marciano and tyson are great fighter no doubt:p

but i was thinking more of the fighters that employ stick and move with the jab without the help of a good wingspan

Loughran had especially long legs, which is why I know him for his exceptional footwork. Not sure about his armspan.

Tyson had a very good jab for a guy his size. Tyson outjabbed Tucker in the later rounds of their fight .

But Tucker's jabbing hand was injured. At any rate, Tyson never ********* a pro, except perhaps his counter-punching display against the Medville Mauler.

Joe Calzaghe has a short reach for someone his size; I'm not sure about his arm length. He can out-box a few boxers.
