wondering what kind of styles other fellow short boxers have, how do you normally take on a tall opponent or a guy that won't stop moving forward?

Try to stay inside as much as possible, use a lot of defensive head movement and blocks/parries. Go to work on the body. When i'm outside, use a lot of feints, change angles and use a lot of overhand rights.

I usually go with the sculpted pouch kind. Silk if I can find em.

Kind of a gay question though...

I like to box which goes against me sometimes. I'm able to go foward/stalk and fight on inside but prefer to box on backfoot and counter

I like to bully my opponents to the ropes then unload. Always moving in and keeping constant pressure so they lose their composure.

I've had to spar a few tall guys and generally I try to just really know my range. I let them find theirs, miss a few shots, and then quickly hop in to my striking range with a few shots, and hop back out.

If you are stronger than the opposing tall person, cutting them off and bringing them towards the ropes works well. I wouldnt really say unload on them because you will get tired. Once they're on the ropes you can square up a bit and give them a few clean power shots and judge from there.

I've had a lot of times in sparring where I burn way too much energy when the opponent is near the ropes.
