When you look at the heavyweight division today (now that tyson, tua) are gone, you can't help but notice all the fighters are very tall. While boxing has always had tall fighters there seems to be more today. You may feel if you want to get into boxing you have to be tall, here are two fights that shorter guys will love.On jan 24th curtis stevens (5'7") destroyed (6') Majewski in 46 seconds! Same card,(5'8") Thabiso Mchunu won 9 out of 10 rounds over (6'2")Olanrewaju Durodola. Mchunu fought as a counter puncher from the outside. He, like orlin norris, proves a short fighter can dominate from the outside ,not just being a come forward pressure type fighter. About a month ago Amir mansou (6'1") defeated Kelvin Price(6'7"). KO. So proof there are still short fighters today being successful.

Fighters above 6'6 generally can't fight without implementing some sort of illegal tricks.

Pac is 5"6 (i think bradley was 5"5 or 5 and 1/2) actually bit shorter then most of the top Jr WWs and even Lightweights.
stevenson is a damn midget in a divison dominated by fighter who are at least 5"10.
Broner was/is the shortest Lightweight titlist at the moment

If fighters are of equal weight height isn't ubiquitously an advantage. Less height means smaller target. And smaller targets are harder to hit.
