Short fighters with abnormaly long reaches

Well i thought of the obvious Burley and Bivins right away

 

Jimmy Bivins arms were so long that papers claimed standing up straight his arms drooped all the way down to his KNEES!!!! 5'9 80" reach!!! New York times called bivins "the octupus"


Liston for 6'1 man had a superheavyweight 84" reach, on film his arms look ridicously long...checkout vs whitehurst, looks like his arm reaches halfway across the ring. he looks like Mr. Fantastic!! haha


sam langford very long arms for 5'6 man


Archie Moore had very long arms for a man a shade under 6'0. helped him deal with the larger heavyweights. sources range his reach from 76-78", not bad for a 5'11 man.

Hagler at 5'8" or 5'9" had a pretty long reach (I think 76").

 

His arms always looked long to me, along with that physique, he appears taller than what he is ive always thought.

 

Kid Akeem Anifowoshe was a super flyweight with a massive reach. I've never seen the exact numbers but his reach was impressive.

I'd mention Panama Al Brown but he was a 6 foot tall bantam to begin with, so he was a freak height and reach wise.

 

I met him briefly way back , and would say 5'9" (his listed height) for Marvin is accurate. Think his reach was 75", long arms for a guy that height. Watch when he pulls his arms in/covers it's like he's in a shell behind them, only that iron noggin/dome exposed.

 

Tommy Burns was 5'7" with a 74" reach.

 

Hagler 5' 9" and 75" reach.

 

Jeff chandler 5'7 67 inches

 

That's the very definition of an average reach.

 

not at 118 if you see jeff you may thing differently , his reach may have been longer but he looked like a spider ******.
