Love Maxie’s self deprecation re being hit by Braddock - Baer’s chin was rock solid and he wasn’t even actually put out by Louis - despite taking a good volume of some of the hardest shots Louis ever laid on an opponent. I’ll throw a clip in also, Galento training for Louis, then alongside Baer and Nova toward the end of the clip. The colorisation really works here IMO - looks very mod. and check out Maxes rad shades. Max sounds like he might’ve been smoking some weed - hiding the “tell tale” eyes maybe, - LOL, just an inherently funny and loose guy - and maybe some weed in there too, ha! We can talk ATGs, and wherever and however you want to rate this trio, they were great for boxing and part of the era’s rich fabric - and just for that, before anything else, they were all GREAT imo.
