What about meldrick Taylor? He had his prime beat out of him in a single fight.... He never fought with tha same speed/confidence again.

    defeniatley riddick bowe.
his prime was basically v evander holyfield.

as soon as he faced a live contender who fought back not called holyfield , that was his end .

another couple of names are donald curry and michael nunn.
2 fighters the ring ranked as p4p best in the world fell apart very quickly and rapidly plunged down the lists albeit with a decent win here and there, but never again ranked as a top 10 fighter.

Just because Tyson lost one fight to Douglas it does not mean he was not in his Prime. Douglas knocked out a Prime Mike Tyson. Because a 25 year old loses a fight it does not mean he is not in his Prime. :rofl:patsch

Its the obvious one from the last 30 years or so. He looked unbeatable from 84-86 at welter and was being talked of as a future middleweight champion.

I was also going to say Bowe, who's Prime only seemed to surface when he was fighting someone named Evander.

Douglas never had no prime. :D He was fat and his career never amounted to much other than the Tyson upset. As usual he revereted back to form when Holyfield demolished him.

His prime lasted one fight and that was the Tyson fight, doesn't get much more shorter than that.
