    Folks,

Yes, we all know that Gerald Cooney was more of a puncher / personality rather than a true fighter.... His management and lack of activity seem to suggest that notion rather well...... BUT!! What about his left-hook power? In a sense of landing a single left-hook to a poor *******'s chin, was Cooney's "Hooking" power really that awesome??? I think it was, however, too bad he didn't stay active enough during his prime to really develop his skills to max........

I will say Frazier had better skills and ability in his prime, but I cannot state for sure his hooking power was better than Cooney's.......

I'd go with Cooney. I have watched him throw that thing in person. Awesome but not to be on the end of.

i vote frazier's, but thats not saying cooney's hook wasnt a weapon of mas destructions though. cooney, frazier and tua probably have the p4p most devastating left hooks of all time.

I think Fraizer gets picked usually because he's known particularly for that punch. I bet Foreman's is stronger, Tua's is stronger, Tyson's is stronger...

Difference between Frazier and Cooney was that Cooney could hook under and over and threw that thing from like 7 inches with brutal power while Frazier could only hook to the head and he threw it from a mile away.

Either way both great left hookers they just utilized it and threw it very different.
