Name 5 active fighters that should have hung up the gloves a long time ago. The following have been champions and contenders but are now a shell of their former self. 1. Tommy Morrison - this won't end pretty 2. Riddick Bowe - Listen to recent interviews 3. Joe Mesi - Has looked awful in his comeback 4. Michael Moorer - An accident waiting to happen 5. David Tua - slow and lethargic Now let's see your lists!
he isn't very different from his style. certainly not the same guy, but not shot. would you call 1987 george foreman shot? hell no. but he certainly wasn't the big george we knew.
There's a guy at the boxrec.com forum that claims that he is Tony Tubbs. Not sure if it's an imposter or the real deal, but that guy wants to fight again. Check out TonyTubbs1985
1.)Holyfield- his having success against fellow shot fighters, but will be exposed as soon as he steps up. 2.) James Toney- you can call him shot, Lazy or Fat, doesnt matter, he just doesnt have it anymore, IMO he never did have it at HW to begin with, but thats another story. 3.) Shannon Briggs- fooled everyone by a lucky twelve round punch. 4.)Hasim Rahman- was stunned by Tarus Sykes, enuff said. 5.)Sinan Samil Sam- He lost to a 40 plus year old Oliver Mccall, he never had the defence to begin with, but he now suffers from james Toney syndrome as well, so his done for. I dont know how the hell his been keeping a top 5 ranking in the WBC.
Oliver is the number 1 contender once the dust settles for the wbc.. Rahman is still very live.. I say as far as shot. Audley Harrison, Jeremy Williams, Dominick Guinn, Malcolm Tann, Golota.. Tubbs and Spoon were never really still active..
1. Jose Luis Castillo 2. Oscar De La Hoya 3. Bernard Hopkins 4. Erik Morales 5. John Ruiz Anything that happened recently/will happen to these boxers should be disregarded as irrelevant.
