Spence has to prove himself, he doesn't have to move out 147...
Just be active like the 1990s era fighters, if he gets KTFO in the process oh well...at least he tried to be real, better than this...

    Good win for Lara

Spence destroys this version of Lara.
He will be at 154 soon enough.

it's a well known fact in the boxing community. Lara called out GGG numerous times even went to his camp and tried to have a chat with Sanchez but they did not want to know. If that is not ducking what is?

Calling somebody out on Twitter is not an official way to make a fight.

Did team Lara ever officially approach team GGG?.....NO.

Has Lara ever fought at 160 to force the fight?.....NO.

And when did he ever go to Big Bear or GGG’s camp? Proof would be nice because that’s the first I’ve heard of this LOL.

I wouldn't say that. Brian Carlos Castano and Jarrett Hurd were both his stylistic nightmares, and he performed well enough in both of them to arguably get two draws. And he's also approximately 7 rounds less shot than Brandon Rios. So yeah, Spence isn't any more problematic for him then Hurd in Castano were, it's a winnable fight for him. Especially when you consider Spence would be moving up in weight and facing someone his own size for a change.

I guess the problem is I don't really rate Hurd so was surprised to see Lara have so much trouble there. I'd also see this board throw Lara under the bus as 'washed up and never that good anyway' if he lost to Spence.

Did Lara offically approach team GGG? You be the judge of Sanchez quote below hehe

""The guys at the top like Gennady and Kovalev, and Wladimir doing his thing at heavyweight - they are knocking people out and giving the people something for their money. And Lara doesn't seem to do that,.. He could have done more to Canelo but he didn't. So that doesn't make him appealing to not only HBO but also to me and our team -

Is or was Sanchez the trainer or promoter?

I ask again evidence that team Lara have approached Loeffer or STFU

And this is from GGGs actual promoter...
It's well known that Gennady Golovkin - when he fights in the United States - is under exclusive contract with HBO. Lara is with Golden Boy and fights on Showtime. So while he is a great fighter for whom we have a tremendous amount of respect, the bottom line is that HBO is our biggest strategic partner and it's up to his promoter to get him accepted by HBO.

"The strange thing is that his name really never came up. His insistence took us by surprise. It's not that Gennady doesn't want to fight him - he'll fight anyone and continues to prove that. But we were looking at fighters who we know can and will fight on HBO."

Lara knee the fight wasn’t happening plus his promoter never approached, and last time I knew Twitter wasn’t the way to get a fight.

IF Crawford is "smoke and mirrors" why won't anyone in PBC fight him? Just make the damn fight and let it do the talking
