If anything Manny should leave Taylor, he obviously doesn't listen to what he has to say. He was a little better when he fought Pavlik but when he fought Spinks, he didn't listen to a word Manny said.

Exactly. He should keep Manny, but he needs to start listening to him. Vlad listends to Manny to a "T"...he would go out their and stand on his head if Manny told him to and look where Vlad is now...he's beating everybody's ass. Jermain just needs to listen to Manny and believe in what he says.

Taylor should stick with Manny. He knows Taylor's weaknesses and maybe ( if Pavlik's straight rights pulled off what all of Manny's pleadings did not ) Taylor is ready to listen to him now. If he's not then what's the point of switching trainers? So Taylor can ignore the new trainer too? Is there another top line trainer out there that needs that sort of grief?

He should get the old trainer that got him to the world title level. As it goes, though, Taylor's problems are mental. He needs to work with himself before anyone else can help.

Agree with you there mate, Taylor has some issues to deal with, he doesnt look like he wants too much at the moment, trying to do as little as possible to keep his title, it backfired though! I dont think he should necessarily change trainers, its not as if Manny is a bad one! But Taylor needs to change his attitude

A good trainer gets his fighter to listen to him.

Manny is one of the best trainers out there - JT should keep him. Maybe this ass whoopin he just got will make him listen and follow directions.

Don't think he wants to get his ass kicked like that again - especially in a fight that you pretty much had won.

Taylor is just so unresponsive in the corner. You see his trainer talking to him and he just sits there, not listening. Then he goes out in the round, even after saying he understood the trainer in the corner, and he does exactly what he did the round before, no adjustment. He's just not a "smart fighter".

Good point. Regardless of whose fault it is, the Manny/Jermaine thing isn't working. JT hasn't looked since they hooked up, I doubt that will change.
