or they can have each judge show the scorecard after each round so no manipulation goes on.

Watching a fight ringside you will not always have the greatest view of the action. Sometimes when I go to fights and I'm sitting three rows back I can't see what is going on very good when they are on the other side of the ring, they can be 20-30 feet away, and you have ropes to block your view, plus you are looking up. The tV views we get at home give us much closer angles of the action at all times, the camera men are level with the fighters, the judges are looking up. This is why they have 3 judges sitting at three different sides, to try and balance that out. Then you have the commentators, or press row side and they all see another angle that isn't judged, also that is where more tv cameras are.

Its possible everyone is seeing a different fight, especially in a very closely contested fight. There just is no perfect way to judge a fight. The system in place works most of the time, until something like this happens, but in this world nothing is ideal, and everything is practical. Nothing works out all of the time.

Now you can believe that the fight was fixed, or you can just believe the judges saw different things from where they were sitting, not given the advantage of close up shots and so on. Maybe alot of the action was far away from the two judges who scored it for Bradley, and his movement and constant attack, even though it was basically fruitless looked good from where they were sitting. We just don't know.

At the end of the day though, this fight everyone is upset about was judged poorly from our TV points of view, and Manny likely should have won the fight no problem. However, if he was working more regularly in the fight, instead of letting Bradley hang in there, there would be no issue at all. Bradley likely eeked it out because he was busy, even if it wasn't effective, from a certain point of view, it may have looked better than it actually was, say looking up in the ring, with the fighters 18 feet away, seeing Bradley throwing and throwing. I don't know. I'm clear I think Manny won the fight, but I'm also clear that humans and what they see doesn't always jive with reality.

Judging will never be perfect, however for the most part, almost always the right guy wins.

I would also like to see judges wear helmet cams, this way future judges can study the angles of the fight right from a judges point of view, instead of watching tv tapes of fights to learn judging techniques, because the points of view are quite different what we see, as opposed to sitting right next to the ring.

Would anybody like to see 5 judges instead of 3?
