Should Adamek beat or be competetive with Vitali, it's a far greater achievement than

maybe I just rate Adamek higher than the guys posting on this thread so far.

I don't see how this can be less than 50/50

 

Vitali got the Ring Title before he retired and would have established himself as #1 the way Volodymyr did had he not retired.

well those other title holders were Lewis, Byrd and Wladimir. great champions themselves.

for toney they were Vitali, Byrd and Brewster and I'm not convinced Ruiz was the worst of the 4 at that point.

Nah going from fighting LMW's and Hopkins in the early 90's to having your first HW fight against an established titleholder is mega.

same with Toney, going from being the MW champ in the early 90's to fighting, again an established title holder 15 or so years later.

Adamek is now considered the 3rd or 4th best HW in the world, only 1 or 2 places lower than Vitali in the rankings.

Wlad would be still the number 2 today. Also it was Vitali who gives Wlad the chance too come back successfully, after Wlad disgraced the Klitschko name, against Sanders and Brewster. Vitali retired Sanders and Lewis, than retired himself. So it was a easy way for Wlad.

this is the problem I have with typical vitali fans (like you)

you base his greatness on speculation "oh well wlad is number 1 because vitali retired"

you also dismiss all of his opponents "vitali is a H2H beast the guy has no chance against him"

after the fight you hail it as a great victory "Vitali was dominant against a top 5 opponent, you're hating if you don't give him credit"

you'll prove to be a hypocrite, of course. You either view this fight as credible and competitive or you don't think Vitali deserves any credit should he win.
