Should AJ fans be careful of overrating his punch power, after GGG's power getting exposed recently?

Before the first fight between Gennady Golovkin and Canelo Alvarez, many Golovkin fans / fanatics were ADAMANT that Golovkin would stop Canelo Alvarez. Even though full knowing that Canelo was never even dropped in his entire pro career, never mind stopped / KO'ed. Yet, many Golovkin fans / fanatics were still ADAMANT that not only would Golovkin stop Canelo Alvarez for the first time in Canelo's career, but that it would be a BRUTAL KO, almost career ending, if not career ending.

Now comes the first fight. And the next thing we know, Golovkin is unable to even drop, never mind KO Canelo Alvarez with any of his punches. Despite landing multiple flush punches. Then the excuses were: "Oh, but Canelo ran, Canelo was on PED and Golovkin was old" Fair enough! But power is the last thing to go. Even if a boxer declines in their late 30's, if they still land flush punches with power, their power should still have an effect if they are LEGITIMATE power punchers / knockout artists. But Golovkin's power had very little effect on Canelo. Old age would mostly affect the ability of the older boxer to land their punches in the first place, but not hurting their opponents AFTER they land.

Then comes the second fight. And this time, Canelo Alvarez didn't fail any drug test. And this time, Canelo Alvarez also stood his ground for most of the fight and came forward, at times, walking through flush power punches Golovkin landed on his face, whilst barely even blinking. Canelo went toe to toe with Golovkin, but Golovkin still couldn't drop Canelo, despite landing multiple flush punches as hard as he could.

So are we seeing this same pattern from AJ fans as well? The idea that Joshua is going to stop / brutally KO a guy with proven durability that has never been stopped before in Alexander Povetkin?

What happens if Povetkin not only manages to take all of Joshua's punches, but also doesn't even get dropped once, whilst also coming forward for most of the fight? Would that finally put the icing on the cake, in regards to confirming the fact that Joshua has EXTREMELY overrated power? Would that expose Joshua of being feather fisted? Will AJ fans stop predicting Joshua to KO future opponents as frequently and would they stop hyping his punching power?

AJ is not just relying on his punch power he is developing an all round so that he can outbox his opponents for 12 rounds if need be ala the Joseph Parker fight.

Of course AJs power is overrated. As was GGGs and as is Wilders. Everyone overhypes power.

His power hasnt been exposed. He's just old. Old fighters dont stop young lions often, esspecially of the caliber of Canelo, nor do they often go to war, of their own volition.

Which is why I find it funny that people expected 36 year old Golovkin to fight like the 30 year old Hagler did vs Hearns.

My God yes!!! Overrating Joshua's power can be seriously detrimental to one's mental health.

Of course grossly underrating his power is a sure sign of dementia.

Did you see some of the bombs Canelo took?! If AJ even has half the boxing ability that GGG and Canelo displayed in their epic fight then he will **** all over Pov, neither of these heavies are in the same league as Canelo or GGG.

Wlad looked like Ali while boxing the ears of Pov, AJ showed for more skill when fighting Wlad than Pov did, he jabbed his way in much more than this limited bruiser, no comparison at all.

GGG has a far better jab than AJ does.

GGG would have easily beaten Hagler and Hearns by the time they reached their 30`s.
