Should AJ fans be careful of overrating his punch power, after GGG's power getting exposed recently?

Julian Jackson and Tommy Hearns did not have overrated power.

It will prove to everyone that Pov cannot jab his way in when he gets out jabbed by AJ the same way he did by Wlad, heavyweights don`t have to always win by knockout, AJ is a skilled boxer and so is GGG.

AJ proofed in his fight against Parker, that he has decent boxing skills, no need to go for a knockout.

No, and I think Adonis Stevenson fits in that picture as well. But GGG, Aj, and Wilder. No.

Oh I would love to see GGG out jab a 6ft6 bloke lol, gtfoh

AJ would KO him with a jab

    What are you people smoking

Heavyweights hit hard end of, pretty sure 99% of the top blokes can KO each other

GGG always had overrated power, most of the blokes he stopped were just intimidated and gave up. Every fighter he ever fought who had some balls gave him a hell of a fight.

Power isn't everything, you need more than just power, which is maybe why some positives should be taken out of his performance vs Parker where he boxed more than usual.

But Wilder fans too need to be careful of overrating his power, especially as he doesn't have the boxing skills to fall back on that Golovkin and Joshua have.

His jab is more accurate than AJ`s and AJ has never met a fighter as quick as Canelo. I was comparing AJ to GGG P4P.

Joshua's problem isn't power, it's chin, stamina and stiffness.

You are mischaracterizing GGG's power. Clearly, GBP purposely avoided GGG for years, waiting for his skills to deteriorate. They have. He no longer has the KO power he once had.

Povetkin is a fat, 6 foot 0, blown up light heavyweight with a near 10 inch reach disadvantage and is nearly 40 years old, WAY past his prime.

Joshua is a 6 foot 6, 240+ pound, muscular specimen in the ABSOLUTE prime of his life with very low body fat percentage and has an 82 inch reach.

If Joshua can't even ACCIDENTALLY KO Povetkin with a punch that he doesn't intend to KO Povetkin with, it would still expose Joshua.

Povetkin isn't even supposed to be winning this fight, or even supposed to be competitive.

Meanwhile, Joshua is not only supposed to win this fight, but he is meant to win this fight by a SIGNIFICANT margin. And if Joshua fails to KO Povetkin, it would SERIOUSLY expose Joshua.

We all know small blown up light heavyweights, at such an old age like Povetkin aren't meant to stand much of a chance against much bigger athletic super heavyweights like Anthony Joshua in the first place. So Joshua beating Povetkin would be nothing impressive to begin with. It won't matter at all!

Heavyweight boxers are never going to be as skilled as the most skilled lighter weight boxers. That's just common knowledge!
