I've heard people saying he should come in at 250-265lbs lmao. IMO this is a horrible idea. Sure he will hit harder and maybe be a little more durable, but he will be slower and his stamina will be even worse.
I thought the only real positive for AJ was his conditioning and that must have been down to his weight, basically stripping off some of that muscle, he still looked big, he didn't look overly bulky and his stamina had much improved. That fight was fought at a good solid pace for Heavyweights and AJ did a lot better than I expected in the stamina department. Sure, AJ looked completely gassed by the final bell but he paced the fight rather well all things considered. I think if he piles on weight, it won't be fat, it will be muscle and that's a problem, we've seen him start gassing middle rounds before when he is bulky and with the build up of that lactic acid he could end up in some serious trouble. I agree It's a real gamble to put weight on, I don't think sticking on more muscle improves his speed, stamina or movement and if he doesn't get Usyk out of their inside 6 then he is done.
He needs to just bulk up to 270, chin down hands up, grit his teeth and go for Usyk's jugular in round 1 Klitschko style. This content is protected Just forget everything his corner tells him and bullrush at Usyk, praying he stuns Usyk good enough to follow up and finish him off on the ropes for a TKO He has no chance against Usyk unless he just takes him out early. None If Usyk makes it to round 2 the fights already over
