You point out DLH-Mayorga (his last fight)

and then talk of Mosley and his last fight.

Cotto should fight Williams, both have showed they've got stuff but against not so stellar competition, let them fight each other for the number 1 contender spot.

What live body has Cotto faced?

    Urkal? 37 year old Mando.

Judah - 1 year layoff and had not won in two years.

Mosley - 36 years and 2 months old.

Quitana - Quitana really had proved himself with those 23 fights...

This doesn't have anything to do with anything. Of course, you probably think it means something. Just no point to it at all.

BTW, isn't Quintana unproven? Doesn't an unproven Cotto fighting an unproven Quintana equal a proven fighter?:lol::lol:

Not really. I would LOVE to see this fight. My inly point is Cotto doesn't NEED Williams to earn a fight w/ Mayweather. That's it plain and simple. And I guarantee you this, more people would agree with me then with you.

No I already stated in another post (because I had to break it down for you)

Thats both have fought fighters to try to prove themselves but they arn't proven just yet. By fighting each other would point out the number 1 IMO

    PBF fought Judah also.......chump..

Now the question is what live body has PBF fought, sure he has a few names, but if you go beyond the name...you'll see it is rubbish...as Lance mentioned:

    Gatti-Shot fighter

    Mitchell- Shot fighter

Baldomir- he ran for 12 rounds against Baldo...

Judah- you said it :"...1 year layoff and had not won in two years."

ODLH- starting to get into the shot fighter realm , who was 2-2 on his last four fights...also had a year lay off before he fought PBF....

Ricky Hatton- to small, a true 140lbs...

So who is zooming who here....:hi:

Relentess. Ive already stated this man. Floyd wanted Zoo. I gotta copy and paste this ****.

Tszyu - Following his second victory over Mitchell, Tszyu stated in the post fight interview he wanted to unify in a big PPV fight against Arturo Gatti. Before doing that Tszyu had to make a mandatory defense paid for hansomely by Frank Warren. Floyd even back in 2005 was in no position to just demand fights with whoever he wanted. What better way to corner Tszyu than take the belt he wants? No fighter in their right mind would pass up the oppurtunity to make a PPV debut in a sold out Atlantic City arena. Tszyu unfortunately didnt come through on his end of the deal.

Brussles was a WBC Elim for Gattis belt.

I for one agree as well. Cotto has a big enough name and a larger body of work than to have to beat a Paul Williams, to get Floyd in a mega fight.
