Amir Khan has already beaten Marcos Maidana (Ring #3) and he's beaten Kotelnik...... Judah has beaten Mattyhese and Mabuza... Timothy Bradley (Ring #1) has left the division to fight at WW for a shot at Pacman most likely.... and he has already beaten Alexander.... so the question is.. should Zab vs Amir be for the Ring Magazine title?... We might not ever get a champ of the division if not... what do you think???
If bradley vacated then yes, but he is still hanging around woith his belts even though he is refusing to fight khan he is still recognised as number one, although if khan beats juda i have him at number 1
No it shouldn't be. Bradley is still the top guy in the division and has two of the belts. He probably does make a move to 147 to chase Pacquaio but he hasn't done so yet. If Bradley vacates his belts and announces he's going to 147 before this fight, then yeah, you could make a good case for this being for the Ring title but not yet.
I agree that Bradley "ducked" Khan but Zab really lost to Matthysse plus Matthysse just beat Alexander who was nr 4 on the list(got robbed and is still at 7, meanwhile Lara gets elevated). The fact remains that Khan is in their ranking nr two and Judah nr 6.
No. Bradley has said he's not yet moving to 147 permanently, so as long as he's there any fight for the title has to involve him. Judah isn't their #3 junior-welterweight anyway, so it's impossible.
I think whoever wins between Khan and Judah should be elevated to number 1... they don't have to be ring magazine champ.. but at least ranked number one... Bradley can be ranked number 2...
Definately no, just because Bradley beat Alexander doesn't mean Khan and Judah should automatically be ranked higher. Its so weird how Khan never had to fight Bradley, Alexander, Urango, and Ortiz. I guess its just lucky timing for Khan.
Bradley never ducked anyone at LWW and has a resume that puts Khan to shame. Khan wanted Bradley and Alexander to fight, so that he could get winner. Bradley doesn't play that **** cause he's the man at 140. He's moving on to bigger things at welter; and when the pickings ripe Bradley will come back for Khan (after Khan builds his resume at 140). Bradley is the man at 140 and he makes the rules; and he wasn't gonna sit there and get robbed of ANOTHER belt by some pro Khan judges. Bradley has worked too hard for that bull**** to slide.
