Should and will, the UFC outlaw elbows to a downed opponent?

With all the problems UFC have had getting past various politicians in various countries, do they want to see fights turning out like the Bigfoot vs Cain Velasquez fight, where an elbow strike turned the Octagon into an abbatoir?

I've often thought that Dana and his crew had instructed fighters over the years not to use elbows, because stuff all fighters were using them on downed opponents(or even standing ones), but in recent times, a number of fighters have been using elbows to devastating effect when it goes to the ground.

I quite like the notion of using elbows when both opponents are on their feet, but I don't like seeing guys sliced up and pissing blood everywhere from an elbow delivered whilst one guy was on the ground.

    Thoughts?

P.S. Have those two champions of cocksucking and ignorance about Glass Jaws existing in MMA(Yes that means you, Neville and Stoo), finally woken up to themselves?

    They should, but they won't.
ufc-tards love elbows on the ground.

When someone manages to knock out an adult(i.e. over 21) Nick Diaz, get back to me, in the meantime, I would encourage Stupid *******s Neville and Stoo to stay away from each other's small ****, lest they once again be hospitalised for Toxic Sperm Syndrome.

Pathetic denier, when someone face plants to the mat from an arm punch, it means they have a very fragile glass jaw.

Bet even Amir Kahn was laughing at nick's pathetic lack or mandibular fortitude. The only think worse is his pathetic glass heart.

Wise up Kerrigan, Nick Diaz has a glass jaw, it's irrefutable

Just my two cents, Pride didn't suffer much even if they did banned the use of elbow.

I think punches should be the norm when on the ground, much like knees and kick are also prohibited.

But when on stand-up or clinch, everything is fair game.
