Oh Quillin was overweight, so it doesn't count as a defence fr Lee. I take it all back

Talk about throwing away your title. Andy went from a very winnable fight in his hometown of Limerick to putting himself in a hopeless position, all in one go!
    Effortless! Genius management alright!
Wonder what Andy thinks of Booth now after that fiasco.
Does he still think he's 'the best trainer in the world'...???

    Hear that spinning sound?
Its Emanuel Steward turning in his grave.....

I imagine they took the fight not caring much about the judges and where it was as a) ***** was paying great money and b) they really did expect to knock BJS out. I think a rematch would sell in Ireland, hope we see it.

I do agree with you though Len, Trainer/managers shouldn't leave any stone unturned.

I think so. The wide stance, flappy lead hand isn't Lee's style and doesn't work for him. Lee needs to go back to the rapier jab and thundering straight/hook follow up. Steward style.

Any coach who is advising someone to widen their stance and thus give up a decent height advantage needs to have his position questioned.

Lee should probably count his blessings and formulate an exit strategy, couple of good money fights and then make his retirement. He was on a bit of a lucky streak but that's over now and seeing as he's going down in almost every single fight nowadays, if he carries on like that it won't end well for him in the long run.

The promoter(u know who) must have lost his shirt on this fiasco.Less than 4,000 paid attendance. What a disaster and shows what kind of fan base these two fighters have.
