Should Andy Ruiz try to get in better shape, or just keep doing what he's doing?

Kownacki has that reckless style like Ruiz of no fear attacking his opponent's, it's worked so far...

On all the fights I have on dvd of Kownacki they talk about his weight, how he was teased for being fat in school and how he started knocking out the guys that teased him!! lol

I wouldn't be surprised if sometime next year we'll see 2 Chubby guys fighting for all the Heavyweight Title Belts in a Unification Match...

    Ruiz Jr. vs Kownacki

If Kownacki can dispose of Arreola and then Wilder and Ruiz smashes the Frankenroids Monster again in the rematch!!

I'm curious if Kownacki can go Toe to Toe with Wilder like he did with Charles Martin in that War!?!

Martin was hungry in the Kownacki fight, against Joshua he got hit like Ruiz did in the 3rd round but he looked like he wanted to quit...

other factors, Joshua was strong on the UK Juice Wagon and the UK Referee was looking for any reason to halt the fight... but Martin also didn't look like he wanted to be there either, no telling what they do to opponents coming to the UK... Like... tie up all their time doing interviews, tv shows, keep them up all night before the fight, no sleep, free hookers sent to hotel rooms, Turbo Lax put in food and drinks, who knows their tactics but it's obvious...

Every opponent that fought Joshua before he came to the USA to fight looked Off Kilter (not normal)... They looked like Joshua in the Ruiz Fight asking his corner "Why do I feel like this?", "I feel Weak!", "What did he hit me with?"

We are currently in the midst of TFT ie. The Fat Takeover. The Gypsy King has inspired an entire generation of fatties with the self-belief and confidence that they can be sporting greats too just like the Klitschko brothers inspired a generation of 6'5'' giants to take up the sport. The Gypsy King, Ruiz,, Kownacki, Gorman, Ali D, and even perhaps Agit Kayabel who is carrying a fair bit of chub himself are the future of the HW division.

A match up for all the marbles between Ruiz and Kownacki is simply mouthwatering and hope and pray that it comes to pass.

Kownacki would probably spark Bum Squad out in a round because the later can't box or fight for toffee and we all saw how much trouble a disinterested Dustin Nichols who had a terrible camp caused him.

Ruiz needs to continue doing what he is doing. No need to fix what is not broken, he has no stamina issues so I would leave it alone.

Work on bashing AJ harder and quicker this time. Get him out early, He's so quick I cant even see AJ taking him out by boxing and moving etc.

Whats it matter what he looks like or what his physique is if he can fight and has stamina -- which he has proven countless times he can and does. Ruiz and Gorman have some of the fastest hands ive seen at HW and both have unimposing physiques. If you are too muscled and tightly wound it restricts range of motion and detracts from speed.

Humans put way too much stock into appearance than they should. Most guys who cant fight and who dont wanna take their lumps and learn how just cycle steroids so they look like they can fight. The pathetic thing? It usually works and they get tested far less often than dudes who actually can fight and arent as imposing.

I like Andy even more because he CAN fight his balls off and maintain stamina in spite of having a less than ideal physique. Who are we to judge or tell such an experienced and accomplished pro what to do.

After Fury the last guy to beat Wilder was "The Worm" so if that doesn't show you that fatties do it better than I don't know what will..

Ruiz deserves extra credit in my book for putting obesity on the map in the US.
