No , definitely not. Robert McCracken is one of the best boxing coaches in the business , he is perfect for
    Anthony Joshua.

No. Joshua doesn't need much work.

19 fights in his doing just fine.

No, no way, Roach's health isn't good enough now anyway.

Also go and have a look at Scott Quiggs performance on Saturday and come back and tell me his time with Roach (as short as it is) has improved him in any way at all. If anything he has gone backwards very quickly.

Roach is past his best in my opinion. Not a good idea.

Sims is still there but McCracken has joined and is now head trainer. I personally think Joshua could do with an elite trainer though

No. I'm not sure what Roach's style of training would do to improve Joshua. AJ is improving with each fight, literally in every recent fight apart from the Molina fight and I can see something he has worked on and improved.

The Martin fight he finally got the timing down on his counter right hand, he'd been trying to utilise this in earlier fight but it was often missing.

The Breazeale fight we started seeing better lateral movement, not great but still an improvement. He started stepping off to the side when jabbing sometimes which he really didn't do much of before. He also showed a better jab and started utilising it more than he did before.

Against Wlad he showed an improved left hook, it was a key punch in this fight. He also showed for the first time he could deal with a clincher, he started using his forearm to push Wlad off when too close and then using this forearm to catch Wlad's jab.

So he is heading in the right direction and with McCracken in his corner now and the experience of that fight with Wlad I expect his progress to go into overdrive. You have to remember this was only his 19th pro fight. Fury at this stage was fighting Maddalone you think a 19 fight Fury beats Wlad? That version of Fury 2 fights later would go on to get into a brawl with Cunningham and get dropped hard, as he hadn't refined his style. Give Joshua time and 2-3 years from now when he peaks he will hopefully be something special.

Yea if Joshua never makes it big in the USA in doesn't even matter too much. He's like Michael Jordan in London right now. One good fight in the states though would basically bring him to the point were TMZ would be following him around los Angeles and countless America girls would be on his jock.
