should Bivol and Beterbiev be devalued because they're one division champion?

Nope, that's what resumes are for. And at the same time if guys win at multiple weights? Tip your cap at them, thats a better accomplishment but it doesnt diminsh the one class champs either. And in general, fans these days disrespect guys with belts it's crazy. The only champions I give the side eye are email champs or in other words guys that got handed belts without the challenge attached.

The 3lb lighter or 5lb max, 1.5 shorter reach, Clenelo was unmotivated to become the LHW champion again against, at worst, the second best LHW in the world and one of the best fighters in the world not the drunkard pale shadow of Kovalev. Nah, nobody's buying that. Not even the casuals. There's levels to this game and Clenelo is always found wanting at the elite level against prime elite fighters, or even past prime ones like GGG, and he just cannot deal with slickness.

The most telling thing about the Bivol schooling of Clenelo was that Bivol didn't even have to move out of 2nd gear all night and the only time he did so was to put Clenelo back in his box whenever Clenelo desperately tried to gain a foothold in the fight and prove he could compete on Bivol's level.

Don't want to say it's lose-lose for Bivol, but if he wins some people will claim he only beat a nearly 40 year old Bertibiev.

I think that is less likely as Beterbiev looked like he hadn't lost much of a step against Smith.

Artur I believe is a frugal man with few vices and a total gym rat, so he probably has aged better compared to the average fighter. But I'm sure there will be some that bring it up, and they have a valid point - Bivol and Beterbiev should have fought a 3-5 years ago, but I don't blame the fighters on that, more promoters and politics.

No... of course not, you save that distinguished honor for history making multi-divisional champs like Naoya Inoue and Oleksandr Usyk.

Bud made that history first, but not a single word from you about him... I wonder why...

Well I'm certainly not running around saying he's overrated with every ****ing breath like you are. That being said, his path to being a multi divisional champion wasn't quite as challenging as theirs.

Who's overrated ? Usyk ? People like you made him overrated, beating just AJ and he is god of HW.

He is super CW and very solid HW, but not the god that you worship.

For a staff member, you sure swear a lot(online) for no reason at all.

People like you really don't know who to deal with others opinions. grow up.

You can do and say whatever you want about other boxers, just like I can. So please continue to worship your gods, but leave me alone.

Yeah, you're right, I do. But that's allowed, because I don't bypass the word filter. Just like it's fine for you to do the same.

I can deal with others opinions just fine. But there's the catch, you're one of the few posters on here that I actually like, so seeing you inexplicably bashing two all time greats, I find genuinely odd and out of character for a usually rational guy like yourself. Personally, I think your dislike of them is irrational and yes... infantile. Because you dislike the hype they get from their fans, which causes you to unfairly lash out at them. Maybe it's you who should grow up, process your anger a little better and direct it at the correct people, and that's not Inoue or Usyk.

I would leave you alone, but when I see you making egregiously hypocritical posts, praising Beterbiev, while out of the other side of your mouth, bashing 2 far more accomplished fighters, how is anyone supposed to allow that to go unnoticed? Be consistent. Of course then you'll say, well you bash Beterbiev! To which I'll say.... yes I do! And you know why? Because I just don't ****ing like him. See.. because I'm petty, just like you.;)

Yeah, he is my type of a boxer and a man, just like Loma. what's the problem ? why do you want someone to like Usyk same way you do ? I don't mind if you say Beterbiev is no good, I don't care about others opinions, my sympathy does not come from others.

Deal with others opinions and if you have so much free time, maybe help others instead of arguing about someone not liking Usyk as much as you do.

nope, not bashing, saying that Beating just AJ don't make you great, Usyk needs to prove more at HW.

You on the other hand silent about Bud, when he does same/more. but still you have your favorites, just like I do.

Many things are allowed, but why do you chose to use these words ? why being emotional about some stranger's opinions online ?

You don’t think Bivol or Beterbiev could handpick a ‘champion’ at Cruiserweight and beat them? Roy Jones handpicked John Ruiz who was tailored perfectly for him and people slobber all over that ‘accomplishment’
