The last time Ring mag had two fighters share a Fighter Of The Year award was back in 1985 with Marvin Hagler and Donald Curry sharing the award.

I think with the year that both Nonito and Marquez had that they both should win it.........

    Nono should get it imo.
With JMM a very strong 2nd, and 3rd place nowhere to be found.

Jmm definately. If he doesnt get it its unfair. The guy is 39 years old and took a light welterweight title and knocked out the p4p best fighter in the world

George Foreman on the Pacquaio vs Marquez 4 fight:

"It was a very strange fight."

    I wonder what he's insinuating.

Uh...did or did not Marquez hire a shady character who specializes in creating undetectable drugs?

    There is your answer.

Donaire should win. He is a class above everyone he fights. He's a great fighter to watch.

True enough but Donaire beat 4 top ten rated fighters in his weight class and won easily as well besides the Vasquez fight where he still won wide but struggled with an injured hand, that's nothing to easily look over........

 didnt Pacquiao walk through much bigger fighters the last couple of years? The guy started at 106 pounds and walked through huge fighters and still won the award while people said he is clean. Was Marquez on drugs? Probably. But if he was so was Pacquiao, he was the one who started the trend

Marquez desurves the award as much ad Pacquiao when he received it for killing Cotto and Hatton

Donaire does get tested more than any other fighter, but the fact that he's working with Conte is suspicious because two of Conte's athletes have recently been busted.

    Berto and a baseball player.

Admittedly, it would be hard for me to believe that Ward or Donaire are on PEDs.

Ward because if he was he would be a huge hypocrite, and Donaire does seem to have stringent, random, all year testing.

Marquez though. I feel sorry for him. I don't know how he can sleep at night.

The only guy he "walked" through I guess...if you want to call it that, is Cotto.

Cotto's power is and always has been overrated.

Yes, he hit Pacquaio with some solid jabs and a good left hook, but Pacquaio was always known for having an iron jaw.

What other fighter did Pacquaio "walk" through?

And for the record, Pacquaio had one punch KO power even at the lower weights.

Hatton got KOed previously by Mayweather.

Mayweather is not a powerful puncher.

Hatton walked into Pacquaio's hardest punch. Additionally, alcoholism makes the brain more prone to concussions and knockouts.

 and he refused a drug test because he is scared of needles. Marquez at least always didnt care about drug tests, he took one against Floyd didnt he?
