Who do you think should be fighter of the year? Both Donaire and Marquez work with PED dealers. Marquez has the best win of the year but Donaire has fought more times against the top of his division this year.

It's not the fact that Pac came off of a losing fight before, it's the fact that Marquez was on the verge of getting his ass handed to him when he caught Pac and knocked him out. If Marquez was dominating Pac the whole fight and knocked him out then Marquez would have a strong case but I don't know if you saw the fight live. Marquez face was tore up and he was about to go or looked like he was about to go in a round or two. In other words it was a close call, not a fighter of the year worthy performance. That award belong to Donaire.

Donaire work with a known peds expert but he volunteer himself to year around VADA testing so he's all good. If Marquez want that treatment he should volunteer himself to year around VADA testing also to cast any doubt on him. There's only one reason why you hire a know peds expert to work for you like that. I'm not saying he's on peds but I am saying that he has no say in it when people accuse him of being on peds. As far as the win goes, like I said Marquez would be a candidate if he was dominating Pac and knocked him out but that wasn't the case. Everybody that was watching that fight pretty much thought that Marquez was going to be done in a round or two, his face was all tore up and it wasn't looking good. To me I would say he was lucky to get out of that. Donaire took on a few solid opponents and pretty much destroyed them so it's not even a question that he should win, he is the winner.

The fact that Marquez caught Pacquiao cold while being all bloodied up and under such a tough spot makes that KO victory even that much more impressive, while Donaire was dominating for the most part OVERMATCHED opponents. THATS what the diffrence is. When Donaire finds himself up in such a spot against a much faster, younger and very dangerous opponent and manages to pull of the win in such a shocking and devastating manner, then come back at me.

Take Julio Cesar Chavez for example....was losing to Meldrick Taylor and with 2 seconds left in the bout BOOM floors him him down hard and gets the TKO win, PLUS the FOTY award.

Marquez will take this award and *******s wil be crying all over AGAIN.:lol::hi:

Only a clown would still think pacquiao is not roided at this point! Open your eyes ppl!! The guy has been challenged to take the tests several times, the latest with Marquez, and he always ducks the "challenge."
Ohhh, and no, beating a shot Arce doesn't make Donaire a fun boxer to watch.

I guarantee you if Pac would have KTFO Marquez, all these *******s would be screaming out for their hero Pac to be fighter of the year. :patsch

But since their hero got layed the **** out cold, of course they dont like the fact Marquez wil most likely and rightfully so be getting the award.

Sooo, not only do you THINK Marquez doesn't deserve the award, you are also asserting he doesn't even QUALIFY for it... You basically have this a "lock" for Donaire.... Hmmm, we'll see about that, only time will tell!!!

.... buttttt, I say time will tell you r wrong!! So should the vast majority of boxing analysts!!!;)

Donaire. He is like the Tyson of the division, whereas he invokes fear in his opponents.

Donaire probably deserves it outright, as great as JMM's win was.

Not hating on Donaire cause he is one of the best in the business. However, all the fighters he fought don't make one Packie. JMM deserves this one, because he walked through the fire and knocked out superman ( according to some people ) .:bbb
