Well I'm not trying to get too carried away here but it does help focus......it heightens your senses hearing, vision and touch...I'm sure your Nam buddies realized this.......On a side note I was an event coordinator at a motorsports park and know a guy who races a Yamaha R6 in the MW class, and we used to get stoned out of our minds in the pits before a race, he was a consistent top ten finisher.....all due to the enhanced focus pot gave him.....but I don't think a boxer could fight stoned, but you see my point

I have no doubt a boxer could fight effectively stoned...of course it would have to be a fighter with a built up tolerance, and at that point it would be worthy of debate how stoned he would even get.

Yes, because it's mind altering. A fighter might feel he "needs" pot to perform better or perhaps keep his cool.

Yes Suge but can you imagine a sportbike racer getting lifted before a race?? In his own words "I can focus much easier, everything is slowed down." The guy would start at the back of the pack and climb his way to the podium about every race!!!!! Its the focus enhancing abilities.....Somehow I don't think pot would help a fighter DURING a fight

Pot in no way would help on the preparation for a fight, weed is part of a persons life just like alcohol is to most people. Most boxers stop drinking bofore training for a big fight I dont know how much weed would affect a person but for sure it would not make them better. I dont think it should be a problem unless they smoke the day of the fight.....lol can you imagine their reflexes.

Exactly. It's not like smoking some weed is gonna give them an advantage! :patsch

  8. If any fighter is stupid enough to use Weed prior to a fight his dumbass deserves to be suspended- forever...

Yes all fighters have to be clean and sober and should be tested the day of the fight, as a fan im paying my $$$$$$ and gAmbling on the outcome of a fight i want both guy's to be straight as an arrow so i can get my MONEY'S worth:deal

**** if they wanna smoke go ahead do it in between fights and quit 2 months before fight night, therefore it's out of your system..

Being stoned is probably not a good idea for a fighter or anybody having to deal with a situation requiring focus. Having said that, nobody should be penalized for partaking of the ganj unless it can be proven that their stonededness caused someone (aside from themself) injury of some kind.

They should. It´s a forbidden drug - I think it should be legalized but well, it isn´t - and so they should be penalized for hitting it.

Yes, as long s it is not a preformance enhancer if a boxer wants to getdrunk and or high that should be his choice.
