Should boxers think about incorporating Wing Chun Gung Fu into their training?

Wouldn't learning Gung Fu help fighters's hand speed? I mean Floyd and Manny have nothing on this:

  2. Those strikes are fast, but not hard or effective.

Manny Pacquiao incorporates damn near a Gung Fu style of putting together his combination punching techniques. I personally think the Gung Fu style would be beneficial to fighters if they want to increase their hand speed and they can also incorporate their power punching at the end of a combination. A lot of boxers (Margarito comes to mind) have real slow hand speed.

they woulld be unstoppable at 140

    with their chins.

they would go 12 rounds and steal points with hands like that

That **** looks way off the hook compared to what goes on in boxing. I never understood why these martial artists just don't turn their fighting into a sport to make a profit? I always get a lame they don't care about money answer.

Sugar Ray Robinson would hit the bag like that.

Also, some prizefighters are already practicing the principles of Wing Chun. Some chinese kid I knew who did it talked about the importance of economical movement. Boxers who follow the textbook like Joe Louis or Floyd Mayweather are very conservative wit their energy.

All good fighters will share some similar ideal concepts: not wasting energy with excess movement, keeping the muscles relaxed throughout the fight, using different angles, etc.

I think the method in the third video could be useful in a boxing match.
Keep in mind that in the fast punching videos that they are not wearing boxing gloves which weigh about a half pound. Which allows them to punch faster.
I think boxers as well as all athletes should cross train. So using other martial arts would have benefits.

Bruce Lee studied pro boxers and incorporated it into his own fighting style, along with other martial arts.

    3:25 mark, Muhammad Ali:

LOOK AT THE ****ING FOOTWORK MAN!

Bruce Lee's favorite boxers were Jersey Joe Walcott and Muhammad Ali.

Obviously it's just a movie scene, Bruce Lee's sparring was much more impressive. Just beautiful footwork and handspeed:
