Should boxers who are ahead on the scorecard before getting stopped be given a draw?

Congratulations on missing the point of a boxing match.

No. An event win is far more prestigious than a draw.

But I've been told so many times that Lewis' win over Klitschko is illegitimate because he was behind on the cards!!!:think

I like how everyone is jumping on the OP, for a completely legitimate question, with senseless hate and bigotry.

Be given a draw ? are you out of your ****ing mind?

If it is a foul it is a no contest. If the fight is stop for any other reason you lose. Just cause your ahead doesn't mean **** until the match ends. You get careless and get knocked out or get busted up to the point you can't continue, you lose. Doesn't matter if you were ahead.

no way! that will definitely eliminate the excitement. This is why boxing is an exciting sport, a fight can end with one single blow.

Prime version of Klitschko lost to an old out of shape version of Lewis who then retired at the top...

The post-fight interviews would be cool though.

"Jermaine, how do you feel to come away with a draw?"
    "Umm, what.....where am I?.....Was there a fight?"
